Finally gave it a proper listen. They pretty much already had an Album of the Year with those 8 singles. Time Escaping, Little Things, Certainty...still all-time favs.
Initial favorites of the "new" songs:
Love Love Love Red Moon Dried Roses Heavy Bend
I will be listening to this a lot. Still a lot to digest.

the entire album is perfect but spud infinity might honestly be my favorite, other ones up there are no reason, red moon, blue lightning, title track, simulation swarm, little things & time escaping
also definitely needs to be a double album for me, its just one of these beautiful messes

I am still listening to this, but what I have heard I have mostly liked. Spud Infinity really impressed me, as has Sparrow, Little Things, Flower of Blood, Red Moon, No Reason and Wake Me Up To Drive, which is how far I’ve made it. Different vibe from the last few days but that’s sort of what I was looking for anyway.

Listened to the full album this morning. It is very good and really cooks for me when they sort of push past the folk a bit - I am thinking of Time Escaping, Spud Infinity, Sparrow, Little Things, Flower of Blood, Blurred View, Wake Me Up to Drive, Love Love Love, and Blue Lightning. The other stuff is good but it is those songs that will bring me back.

I saw them last week in Boston. Very nice show!
The songwriting prolificness is amazing. They just released a double album and apparently recorded another 20ish songs during those sessions. And then at the show they play what seemed like a brand new song.

I had just this past weekend revisited the first 6 or 7 songs on that new album and actually was still quite impressed. It’s a long album that may benefit from being heard in chunks rather than trying to power through the whole thing at once.
