Hello
I've become obsessed with figuring out the origin to a very ubiquitous piece of music
It pops up a lot of places, but you can hear it at the very end of this song (4:49 mark)
It's a little musical sting, usually signaling "the end" of something. I keep thinking it's something from Looney Tunes, or from an old ragtime tune, but I can't place it. And it's impossible to Google!

Do you know? Can you help?
sounds like something Nickelodeon used, but I can't pinpoint for what exactly.

Don’t think this is it. But this is the origins of the Looney Tunes song.
«The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down» is a song written in 1937 by Cliff Friend and Dave Franklin. The tune first appeared in the Merrie Melodies cartoon short Sweet Sioux, released June 26, 1937.»
