so wiki is showing credits for live drummers on both albums, but they sure sound programmed to me. I'm assuming that they're tracking live drums then looping them. FWIW, DM's work on the last RHCP album sounded similar, also some of the gnarls barkley stuff

Sunburned Hand of the Man are "Massachusetts finest free rock troupe". They've released a most interesting album in 'Pick a Day to Die' which moves from ambient through krautrock through psych jams and blues. There's even some industrial noise into a sweet, smooth finish (with J Mascis taking the lead on the final track). This one is certainly not boring and keeps you interested throughout its 7 tracks/37 minutes.
