This album is up there with the first one for me, just takes a few listens. It has lovely pacing and you can hear the band are gelling together (even if it’s recorded apart) Mason slots in better too rather than being upfront like in the first album.

I agree with this. Til God Turns the Lights On really sounds great in context, as does Life in Rewind at least the way it plays out across the album. Drink the Ocean is such a good opener. Dead Man’s Dream is killer. This thing is fantastic.

these 2 albums are so good, i have them on repeat these days, can't stop at one, gotta play both. hard to believe it's not more appreciated, this music is in many ways more interesting than anything pj/ev has done since forever. more please!
