Yeah guys, its nice that everyone is happy with Stone having fun in this side project, but this last song from PS is not that far from what I hear in Quick Escape: riff structure, chorus shouting song's name, drum pattern after second chorus, crazy fast solo...
its not that innovative or different from what PJ has already done. actually Ed vocals are a lot lot lot better than Mason and will always be whatever project the other members have... So I don't see why compare both outputs, I'll just enjoy this new song from Stone, as enjoyed Jeff's... Any shit song that contains Eddie singing will be taken for another level, theres no way I'll try to compare with other stuff.. (and yes The Haves kinda sucks)
The Haves only makes sense as a parody of those type of songs. The lyrics are the worst piece of this Ed wrote in his life.
Why don't you know that I know When you're hurting after all these years, I know Like Siamese twins I can feel every one of your senses We're just the same Unconditional love, easier said Said than done
Thats parody right there....really good, great parody. Something tim heidecker could have wrote.
I also listened to this again yesterday and it had probably been at least 6 months. This is just a straight up high quality album and the second seems very promising from that live performance.

Yeah! I just can't believe all the guys are this active again. Between Lightning Bolt and Gigaton it only seemed that Jeff was interested in creating and recording. And now all of a sudden Loosegroove is back and releasing a second Painted Shield album soon. Talks about Brad stuff being released aswell. PJ is already talking about a new record. Jeff will have the Deaf Charlie album coming up. Eddie with another solo record... These are good times! And Painted Shield has a lot to be excited about!

BTW, that Brittany Davis keyboard solo is amazing.
i had the video on but wasn’t watching and thought to myself ‘this is a pretty good guitar solo here’ only to look over and see the camera focused on davis playing the keys, and very clearly playing the solo... i can’t recall ever hearing a keyboard solo and mistaking it for a guitar solo before. mindblown.gif
