Bonny Light Horseman s/t
Drive-By Truckers - The Unraveling
Gigaton
Dead Tongues - Transmigration Blues
Kathleen Edwards - Total Freedom
IDLES - Ultra Mono (probably)

Have you tried Waterfall II by MMJ? It clicked with me as well as anything since Z.

I gave it a couple of half-assed listens but definitely need to revisit it. Thanks for the reminder.

this new sufjan stevens album is really good. it reminds me a lot of an amalgamation of jonsi, kevin parker, and destroyer.

I couldn’t even tell you what a single Sufjan song sounds like. Not his voice, not the vibe, none of it.

oh man, Illinois is worth checking out. I bet you’ve heard a song of his, but didn’t know it.

Carrie & Lowell is such an amazing, yet heart-wrenching, album. It gets me every time.

I hate sufjan. He ruined one of my favorite dylan songs and there was no looking back after that.

Hate is a strong word. I didn't mean that. Apologies all around.

I really like Seven Swans and Carrie and Lowell -- his more maximalist stuff wears on me quickly, though it's great in small doses. What Dylan song are you referring to?
