This profile is very good. Did you know Isbell owns all his masters? He actually makes $4-$5 off each album sold. I don't know who buys albums these days but that's awesome.

Saw a clip of Jason and Amanda playing "Letting You Go" (about their daughter) on some cooking show with Trisha Yearwood, and even though they only showed one verse and one chorus, I was straight up bawling by the end of it. If he ever plays Cover Me Up --> If We Were Vampires --> Letting You Go --> Elephant live, it will be lethal.
So, in Canada there's no such thing as a Dreamsicle, it's called a Creamsicle; I thought Dreamsicle was a terrible bastardization of Creamsicle and the dreamy nature of the song, which really irked me as being cheesy and not very Isbell. Then I come to find out that it's called a Dreamsicle in the US and then it all made sense. Hahaha

New songs ranked: 1) Dreamsicle (classic Isbell on steroids) 2) Overseas (prefer the acoustic version, but saw the full band version live and enjoyed it greatly) 3) Only Children (classic Isbell) 4) Be Afraid (this will undoubtedly rip live) 5) What've I Done to Help (don't mind it, but way too long and repetitive)
