Gave it a proper listen on headphones today and loved it. After WHIDTH it's just about perfect. Had to go back and listen to Overseas 3 or 4 times. Sounds like it was a bitch to make, but it was worth it.

The lead guitar sound on this reminds me of Mike Campbell/Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at times.

I think WHIDTH is a really strong song. The musical interplay is outstanding. It's hooky. It's passionate. But...

I think it's a tad overlong and I wish J would shut up at the end of the song and let the instruments speak.

Yes. The music is okay but the main vocal hook ("WUDDUV I DUNN DA HEELLLLP") really grates.

Is there a studio version of Isbell doing "Maybe It's Time"? I was thinking of swapping that in as the opening track.

Indeed, that one hit me pretty hard on the first listen. I need to find some more time for this album but I am liking it a lot.

I heard Cover Me Up on a podcast a few years ago and bought the album before the song was over. This guy is a rare talent in sea of alt-country crap

I enjoyed that show posted up the page. Half of this album is truly top shelf.

His "Maybe It's Time" demo is finally available (on Bandcamp). Gonna swap this in for "What Have I Done to Help" and instantly improve Reunions by 10%.

That's a great setlist. Think I'll pick this one up.

IT IS SO GOOD. I can't get over how good it is. The sound is perfect and the acoustic...my god.

It really does sound fantastic, nice to hear a stripped down set though I do enjoy what is brought to the table full band electric.

Went ahead and grabbed Maybe It's Time (Demo) along with The Color of a Cloudy Day, probably give those a listen later on.

Another great Bandcamp release today, from Dec 2016, theater show. I will buy all of these as long as they keep dropping them.

I might grab either that one or the Brooklyn Bowl gig later today, I just wish the latter had the encore. It's great that they are embracing something centering around the live show in this COVID induced off-season.

They both amazing but very different. You can watch the Brooklyn Bowl gig on YouTube for free (with video) but you must know that since you know it's missing the encore! I hadn't noticed that. I've bought every release.

Yah, I'm glad they can make a little revenue as I'm sure Jason is supporting his band/crew and it's gotta be tough on them.

Running With Our Eyes Closed has really gotten better and better. This is a great song that I don't think I appreciated when the album first dropped.
