Blasted SFTD at the gym this morning. I think this is when they start to jump the shark for me. The straight ahead rockers still rule, but the skits suck and the more glam-rock songs kind of suck.

Upon further listens, I don't like that the drums are hard-panned left in the latter part of the song. They were likely trying to achieve a room mix by giving the strings room to breathe, but it wasn't the right call IMO.
Still a good song, but I'm a little worried about the production and mixing now. I hope J-Ho and co. prove me wrong.

I don't know many of you care about stand-up, but I found this Dan Soder interview where he discusses his favorite Queens tunes. He actually used "In the Fade" to close out his latest special. Some interesting takes.
I wonder how Soder would vote in the tourney. Maybe someone should shoot him a DM.
