If so, good on Kanye, but he's naive to believe that Trump wanted to see him for any other reason than publicity and to be associated with a pop icon.
I hate Trump, but I don't think this is true. He's been supportive of Kanye for a long time, and Kanye has been supportive of him as well. I think Ye endeared himself to Trump by being complimentary in the past.
Kanye ain't doing the lords work here. If he would have come out against trump and then stated that he is trying to create change or whatever...than good on him. Otherwise its just more headline grabbing shit
Why would it be necessary that he be against Trump to be understood as having good intentions?
Because only liberals have good intentions. Duh
Not what i was saying.
I dont believe Kanyes intentions to be pure. I really dont see how you can support trump and also care about multicultural issues. ANd kanye is a headline grabber. This is what he does. They are both egomaniacs. Thats all.
I don't see why it's even news. Trump has interacted with a lot of famous people over the years. Everytime he talks to some celebrity it's going to be news now?

Kanye does not look well in the photo with Trump. I wonder if he is on meds these days. poor guy
and did someone pee on his head? or is that the gold-leaf in drumpf tower reflecting on him? or just his natural yeezus halo?

They are both silly idiots. One is a literal mental patient who makes music and the other is the president of the United States and leader of the free world.

Oh my god

No I wouldn't. It's possible to have two separate ideas/opinions about one thing at the same time.
Does anyone really object to labeling both Trump and Kanye as egomaniacs and/or headline grabbers? Plenty separates the two of them. But they sure do seem to have that in common as far as I can tell.
But to the meat of what I think Strat was trying to say... There does seem to be a gap in common sense among people who continue to meet with and approach Trump and those who honestly care about the issues he so clearly opposes. That doesn't mean that Kanye doesn't care about multiculturalism. I believe he does. I would honestly be shocked if he didn't. His approaching Trump about it is either a ploy or it's an example of his naivety. Because as sure as I am that Kanye does care about it, I know that Trump doesn't give a shit about multiculturalism.
Good on Kanye for talking to him, but I'm not sure what he honestly thinks he'll achieve. Trump doesn't give a shit about Kanye, outside of how meeting with him can make him look or improve his standing. It's a shame because I believe Kanye probably does think he can make a difference. His own ego is telling him he can make a difference. He just underestimates the sack of shit he's dealing with.
