Does anybody still watch these? What are some of your favorites? I used to love buying live DVDs. I still enjoy a good concert film, but they seem completely irrelevant now |

The Last Waltz might be the best one I've ever seen. |

Sign O' The Times and Stop Making Sense are my favorites, but there's also a lot of good, minor ones. I posted Perfect Square in that REM thread and that was one I really used to love. |

I used to watch The Cure In Orange to death but I haven't seen it in years. |

I used to watch them far more frequently. I still throw some on in the background while I'm grading. If I do that, it's ones I've watched before like Touring Band or the concert that came with the Purple Rain deluxe edition. |

Nirvana's Unplugged is a classic. I remember my friends and I huddling around the TV to watch that back in the height of my Nirvana craze. I still have it somewhere... |

I recently got rid of all my concert DVD's. I had about 20-25 of them that I had collected over the years. I don't think I watched any of them more than once or twice. I did watch "Touring Band 2000" on VHS a fair amount back when it came out. These days I'm a lot more likely to just watch a clip here and there on YouTube. |

I still watch concert films occassionally. I rarely get to go to actual concerts unless I travel so... A couple favourites are Black Keys Live and Tragically Hip That Night in Toronto. |

I completely forgot about U2's ZooTV film. I love that show/tour. That will forever be in rotation. |

The kids are alright is fantastic. The nationals film, Mistaken for strangers is also brilliant. And funny The frames have one called in the deep shade, which is great. There’s a doco about daft punk that’s great but it’s more about their recording process but it’s worth a watch. |

While Youtube has been my go-to for years now, I still have tons of these and buy new ones from time to time. In 2018 I got Behemoth’s The Satanist Live and Devin Townsend’s Ocean Machine Live in Australia. |

I watch The Last Waltz every Thanksgiving. MMJ's Okonokos every couple years. Tweedy's Live in the Pacific Northwest from time to time. Drive-By Trucker's Live at the 40 Watt and Live from ACL are pretty good. They're nice to have on in the background. |
