Man this Lana Del Ray album goes on a bit.

I agree. Kinda like the Michael Kiwanuka album. Samey.

The Kiwanuka album has some great moments but I agree it can be slog to get to them.

Heard Brittany Howard's Jaime for the first time a few days ago and I'm listened to it a dozen times or so now. Phenomenal record. I'll definitely need to adjust my 2019 rankings soon. It's a top 10 of the year, no question.

top 10 so far

Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Cindy Lee - What's Tonight to Eternity
Boat - Tread Lightly
Beach Bunny - Honeymoon
Frances Quinlan - Likewise
RVG - Feral
Triangulo de Amor Bizarro - Triangulo de Amor Bizarro
Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia
Trace Mountains - Lost in the Country
Waxahatchee - Saint Cloud

other good ones for me are Ubicación en Tiempo Real by Barbi Recanatti, Ambertron by Mint Mile, Empty Country S/T, R.A.P. Ferreira's Purple Mountain Pages (I like it but idk if it's sticking with me like my favorite milo records do), 925 by Sorry, Bad Luck by Answering Machine, Have We Met by Destroyer (need to give this more listens) and this Malkmus album that I always forget about

Joey bumped this thread to talk about an album he recently discovered, so you might have just saw "Albums of..." and your mind filled in the current year.
