Holy shit The Delines have a new album out today! Last I heard it was on hold because the singer had been in a car accident.

I guess this one's technically a 2019 release, since the physical version is out in a couple days: Doomsday Survival Kit is the fourth album by Lebanese chaabi-trance duo Praed. It's billed as dance music to calmly prepare for the sixth extinction.

I'll also add the new Gary Clark Jr album and the new Sleater-Kinney. I'd also like a new White Lung album, but I have no clue if that's on the horizon at all.

Mercury Rev have announced they are returning with a new album, presenting their entire guest-loaded reinterpretation of Bobbie Gentry's 1968 LP The Delta Sweete. And the guest list on Mercury Rev's record is impressive, to say the least, with the group roping in the likes of Margo Price, Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval, Vashti Bunyan, Lucinda Williams, Phoebe Bridgers, Norah Jones, Slowdive's Rachel Goswell and Stereolab's Lætitia Sadier.

1. Okolona River Bottom Band (ft. Norah Jones)
2. Big Boss Man (ft. Hope Sandoval)
3. Reunion (ft. Rachel Goswell)
4. Parchman Farm (ft. Carice van Houten)
5. Mornin' Glory (ft. Laetitia Sadier)
6. Sermon (ft. Margo Price)
7. Tobacco Road (ft. Susanne Sundfør)
8. Penduli Pendulum (ft. Vashti Bunyan with Kaela Sinclair)
9. Jessye' Lisabeth (ft. Phoebe Bridgers)
10. Refractions (ft. Marissa Nadler)
11. Courtyard (ft. Beth Orton)
12. Ode to Billie Joe (ft. Lucinda Williams)
