Overall I think the gradual disappearance of these kinds of iconic dinosaur records is a good thing, but I wish it simultaneously meant that lists of all the old iconic dinosaur records would stop circulating. There is no good reason for future generations to continue thinking there is anything special about "Appetite For Destruction."

Music is not perceived in the same way.
Its a distraction, a fun and short thing, something that happened while you were waking.
