Is Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy the auto-tune one? I don't like that one. I get auto-tune fatigue by the about halfway through the second track.
I think that one is 808 and the Heartbreakers

Well, that's relief. I thought I was going to have to stop buying new records.
Reid it and post a summary please. I'd like to know too.
Verb asks if any album will match the long-term significance of seminal releases from the past such as Appetite for Destruction. Joey posits that Kendrick Lamer's DAMN could fit. LV counters with Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Trag says this can't be the case because it didn't have universal enough appeal. This spirals into a weird conversation about who is qualified to speak for people of color in a largely white message board. The point is that it's all over and we're friends again.
Thanks for the summary, Jorge; I knew I could count on you to break it down so a layman, such as myself, could easily understand.

that Low album is definitely in my top 10, but honestly haven't given it enough listens to see if it could break top 5. i'm gonna queue it up now, seems like a good gloomy day for it.

I dunno about the other 2.. I did like the new Greta but I was kinda expecting better.. I chose that RW album because it's originals, but I thought his take on the lilywhite sessions was excellent.. the jury is still out on tweedy.. I did like the parquet courts n thee oh sees albums but I dunno if I feel confident putting them on a best of..same with arctic monkeys, but I think that's their best album.. I also need to listen to pusha n Nas more, but they were both solid efforts.. I'm not sure if it technically counts, but the new phish album they played live on Halloween was awesome.. just dl'ed an album by the group rangers, which I'm really diggin

This thread led me to the new Beach House, which I was wholly unaware of. Maybe it’s the Sonic Boom production, but I don’t remember this group being this enjoyable. These songs really go places. I think they were made for night time bicycle riding.

I see that low album on all kinds of sites for album of the year.. checked it out and I just don't get it at all.. it has a cool vibe going on at times but I don't think I can listen to it for an extended period of time
