I knew you'd like it.

It was a part of the kick-starter for their most recent album, so they were obliged to cover this song.

This band deserves their own thread. Please edit the thread title accordingly. They did release my favorite album of 2012, after all.

I'm seeing them in Iowa in a few weeks, I had a blast when they came around in December.

Sarah Balliet is oh so lovely by the way :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

The band is OK but this song is really bad. The original is about a million times better and it's not that good. Why were they obliged? Did they do this as a joke?

They had a kickstarter campaign to finance the last album, if you chose a certain tier you could tell them which song you wanted them to cover.

Haven't listened to their latest but they have been pretty consistently good since In Buca...while Magpie was a step down it still had some really good songs.

These guys are better than they get credit for, I feel.

I realize this is so much better for touring and loud gigs and that it bypasses all the mic'ing and EQ issues that plague acoustic cellists, but I still wince at the thought of playing one of these body-less electric cellos. One of my favorite things about the instrument is feeling that big-ass resonance chamber vibrate with every note.

She's pretty hot, too.

Boy Decide is such a fucking powerful song. I mean that whole album, sure. But that song in particular just gets me.

It's so fucking good, I can barely stand it. Just lights out from beginning to end. But that opening track is a force.

The kickstarter levels are pretty cool, I'll back something eventually.
