I'm very interested in the Beastie Boys and so I'm sure I'll still enjoy it, but the excerpt you shared sounds like it'll be standard-issue "we did this, and then this happened, and then another thing happened". Not sure why I was expecting something meatier, but my enthusiasm is a little dampened I just like that it's told in their own voice, and the conversational style works for me.
