The Edge's work on Numb is sublime. I wish they had just relegated Bono to guitar at this point and let the Edge take over from here on out. 100% less Jesus Christ posing!

Fugazi: Guy Picciotto > Ian Mackaye

I wouldn't go so far as to say the Bob Weston > Steve Albini, but he should definitely be singing on more of their songs.

I used to think Noel Gallagher should've been the lead vocalist for all Oasis songs but I no longer think that

I thought he was the lead singer. Which one sings Wonderwall?

That's Liam. Noel sings about two songs per album.

Numb is the only U2 song I care about

Sonic Youth is tricky, because they split the singing duties up roughly:

Thurston: 60%
Kim: 20%
Lee: 20%

Anyway, Lee & Kim are both better than Thurston. Kim's output quality is wildly all over the place, but like 90% of the Lee songs are awesome.

It really does blow every single other U2 track out of the water.

Did they ever expand on the sound of Fucking In the Bushes? Or was that vibe sort of a one-off in their catalog?

I don't know that song (I have very surface-level Oasis knowledge)

That's that one they did for the Snatch soundtrack that sounds nothing like Oasis:

I disagree. I like them both, but prefer Ian.

I think The Argument had the perfect balance. Ian's mellow delivery on Cashout and Argument was great. Guy's voice was awesome on Strangelight.

That may be my one complaint about Fugazi, they could be doing some really cool vocal harmonies. But I get a sense that generally it's "this is your song, this is my song."

More songs like The Kill (Guy mostly singing with Ian handling the chorus) would be great.

I thought that was Joe Lally singing?

Oasis also would have been better to share singing duties more.

Love this track.

Flavor Flav should have been doing a lot less hyping and a lot more rapping.

It is. I forgot Lally sang a track on The Argument.
