i've never listened to those beyond a cursory song scan. Is there anything on there that reaches Radiohead levels of creativity?

A good example where the thread title actually happened is Goo Goo Dolls. Haha their stupid-looking bassist/original singer was sidelined by the pretty boy with the pop melodies. What a dumb loser

oh no, not even close.

but i think that's why i appreciate a lot of their solo work. you get a glimpse into what and how each member contributes. Radiohead's solo projects always felt like 1/5th of Radiohead to me.

i'd get on board with this, with exceptions of course.

can you imagine Pete doing that scream in "Won't Get Fooled Again"? lol

Ladysmith Black Mambazo: i much prefer the buttery annunciations of Sibongiseni Shabalala over the edgy vocal articulations of Thulani Shabalala.

I do not. Naked Eye might be my favorite Who tune and Pete's verse almost ruins the song.

Well I'll go ahead and say it: I would have liked a little more Cantrell and a little less Staley

That's Liam. Noel sings about two songs per album.

What does Liam do during the Noel songs?

Two of my favorite songs by The Silt are sung by Marcus Quin, and those are the only two that he takes lead vocals on. I like Ryan and Doug as vocalists, but it would have been nice to have Marcus lead a little more often.
