This is one of those bands where I found a perfect album and never felt a need to branch out. I LOVE Come Pick Me Up, discovered it via the album's producer Jim O'Rourke. I play it fairly regularly, but I'll be damned if I can tell you how it compares to the rest of their catalogue.

That album/band for me is Billy Breathes by Phish.

For sure! Billy Breathes is great, and I don't care about the rest of their catalog (though I have heard a few more albums in their case).

Bands that only have one album I love like that always leave me so unsatisfied. At the Drive-In, Electric Wizard, High on Fire. Why can’t they just make more songs like that, dammit?!

Double thumbs up. I also know a little more than just Billy Breathes, but only a tiny fraction of the entire Phish catalogue. And I really don’t have much of a desire to get into it much deeper. Admittedly that’s also because Phish has like nine million songs/albums. But goddamn, I love Billy Breathes.
