.
I actually really dig this. The b-side trumps the A-side here. He should write more driving rock in the style of The Shock of the Lightning and Bring It On Down.

Noel's making the interview rounds drumming up promotion for his upcoming record. He's apparently thrown out the idea of writing songs for Liam should he embark on a solo career. I'd guess they'd get back together in a couple years once Noel tours through this next cycle, but regardless, I'm already cracking up at the quotes.
"Richard Ashcroft isn't good for the [major label] share price, because he's got an opinion. Liam isn't good for the share price because he's a raving fucking lunatic."

Noel's record is out there. Its all right. Lock All The Doors and You Know We Can't Go Back are the two rockers that I dig, but the rest of it isn't all that impressive at first listen. Riverman has a tasty solo in it, but most of its middle of the pack forgettable rock.

The album reminds me of the new U2. All craftsmanship and attention to detail, and entirely mid-tempo forgettable.
Its not a good sign when the best song is a 23 year old Oasis track, but there are a few decent tunes. Riverman and Dying of the Light are OK. Shit lyrics as usual, but no one expects music like Definitely Maybe anymore. The live show should be cool, and the press has been pretty amusing thus far. It'll do.

Noel Gallagher interviews are pretty much the greatest thing.
I read this Zayn kid is worth $20 million. He should be fine money wise.
He'll blow through that before his thirties.
The interesting stuff in the interview (after you stop laughing) comes from the fact that he says the photo of Liam with the backstage pass was his other brother's pass, and that if Liam was ever at a gig the world would know since he'd force his way onto the stage and act like a complete douche. And the "gentleman's agreement" rumor was started by Liam. Noel thinks he'll tour well into next year. No Oasis.

I didn't realize the Morning Glory Reissue came out. I pretty much had everything on there....I think I paid $50 for a B-Sides "Bootleg" back in the day that is pretty much Disc 2 here. I've never heard the demo for Hello before it's fantastic.

Hello demo on the reissue?
I thought disc three had some fairly worthwhile stuff.
