I/O doing surprisingly well on the charts: #1 UK, #2 Germany, #2 Scotland (all physical I think), then iTunes #3 in Canada, Netherlands, Switzerland, then top 10 in eleven other countries

I’m listening to PG non-stop since this came out. Been going back to his two previous albums Up and Us.

Up really is magnificent. Only the Barry Williams show feels like an odd choice, mostly because it doesn’t really gel with the overall vibe, but it’s a great song. But I’d put this album near the top of the list, behind Melt and Security.

Way back when I started this thread, I don’t think I have Us a very fair shake. I’m finding all sorts of new elements to enjoy (while also wishing the mix was a lot more dynamic). That one is basically playing like a new album.

No but the first lyrics are "Folded in your fleshy purse / I am floating once again" so you're not too far off

Why did you edit your post? I had to stop listening for a minute and then I came back and the tune was gone.

Because the live version is even better and I'd hate for a newcomer to listen to the studio cut and then skip the live version. IT'S CALLED CONTENT CURATION WEASE!

I'm in an existential crisis between Bright Side Mix / Dark Side Mix / just buy both? Also they're like $47 so I'm waiting for the price to drop.

I was going to listen to both versions. Now, I will listen to neither.

i heard road to joy on a local indie mpr station a couple days ago, which was kind of surprising.

and lol in something completely serendipitous i literally just turned on the station's streaming broadcast and it's playing right now. looks like it was voted the #85 song for the year by listeners, so must have been given a decent amount of plays.

Dark-side mix is hitting the spot right now. I think I prefer this to the bright-side.
