Tori is amazing. Choirgirl Hotel is a perfect record.

It is. To Venus and Back is absolutely wonderful too. I’m not sure which I like better.

Both great records. I'd personally give the edge to Choirgirl. That one holds such a special place in my heart. But I wouldn't argue with anyone who picked Venus.

Liquid Diamonds is one of the sexiest and coolest songs ever recorded.

I’ve always been turned on by Tori. She’s super erotic.

Her first five are all great.

It’s basically a couple of middle-aged dudes mentally gang-raping Tori Amos

Absolutely. She's able to explore so many deep dark experiences and complex emotions in honest and relatable ways while still being mysterious and poetic. Little Earthquakes through Venus captures such a valuable and memorable time in my growing up. A big part of my worldview comes from Tori and those first few records. She's just completely amazing.

Couldn’t agree more, Joey. :heartbeat:

Those lyrics are so intense.

There are few out there that get as deep and dark and intense as Tori. She can rip you in half.

Favorite songs?

Oof... man...

Liquid Diamonds and Take to the Sky are my all time #1 and #2. After that... I'll have to think about it. Father Lucifer, Spark, Bliss, Cornflake Girl and Strange all come to mind right off the top of my head.

But then I've already left off Precious Things and Little Earthquakes and 1000 Oceans.
