The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The Deals and Mr. Macpherson live within a few miles of each other in Dayton, Ohio, their hometown; they get together to watch ballgames, and their state loyalty runs deep: on the bus, Kim wore socks emblazoned with a picture of Johnny Bench, the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer.
I love this. Adds another dimension to the great chorus from Space Woman.
Its a good read on the chemistry this lineup had and have, and how difficult the Deal´s can be. Im glad they are making music together, i hope to see them live soon.

Yep. Also a good read on how substances can cloud that chemistry. There's always been an uncanny purity to their music, but it's at an all-time peak right now, and i think it's related to their sobriety. How many rock bands turn in their best work in their 50s?!

Man. I just love when good musicians love what they do and it shows. Tonight's show was fantastic. I'll review highlights tomorrow, but man they were fun, interacted with the crowd, the crowd was great. Good times

So, so glad to hear it Ruddo. We all spend a lot of time yapping about music, but I believe the current iteration of The Breeders is one of the best bands on the planet right now.

Don't remember the order from some of the stuff early in the set, but from around Cannonball on should be right and I'm forgetting a couple:
New Year Wait in the Car Nervous Mary Spacewoman All Nerve No Aloha Glorious Divine Hammer I just want to Get Along Drivin' on 9 Howl at the Summit Megagoth Cannonball Happiness Is a Warm Gun-Beatles cover Gigantic-Pixies cover Saints (Unknown) Do You Love Me Now? Huffer Safari
Highlights for me were early on. Spacewoman, Wait in the Car, Aloha, Divine Hammer. Kim and Kelly were both talkative, interacted with the crowd while they changed instruments, and seemed super grateful for how enthusiastic we all were. They were really playing loose but well. They seemed to be having fun, and it was a really Breeders-knowledgeable crowd. Cannonball didn't get some huge cheer but a lot of other songs did. Which was nice that it wasn't just a bunch of 90's "hits" fans.

That is one killer setlist, Ruddo. Opening with New Year would have been enough to give me a woody; I'm not sure I would have made it through those first five songs without having a panic attack. Good score on the cover of Gigantic, too; that's one of the best Pixies songs I think. Safari to close is a cool choice.
Insanely jealous. No chance of my catching them this tour. I hope they can keep their shit together for another go-round, otherwise they're apt to get relegated to the same place as Fugazi and Minutemen: All-time favorite bands that I never got to see live.
