ITT we discuss rock music of the 90's (try to keep the PJ talk to a minimum). I figured this was a good thread for some of the bands who may not be known / worthy of their own thread.
With that in mind, I've really been into Superchunk lately. Any love for them here?

Superchunk's new one is being thrown around like the greatest thing that ever happened. I didn't really care for it. But, yeah, in general I tend to like their stuff.
I still really like the Gin Blossoms' 'Hey Jealousy'. Is that allowed?

Stuff that feels like a guilty pleasure now but is still quite good, or at least some of it: Gin Blossoms (as mentioned) Soul Asylum Sponge Silverchair Ugly Kid Joe
I used to enjoy the New Radicals quite a bit, and Reef.

Crying Like A Church On Monday is a fucking beautiful song.

Some 90's artists I dig that seem lost to the annals of time (I'm not gonna bother mentioning artists with legacies like PJ Harvey, the Manics, Pulp, etc.)...
Elastica (Their at the time maligned second album is pretty much a blueprint for everything that happened in the indie scene in the decade that followed) Mansun (It's a shame that Placebo went on to be big and Mansun faded away. Mansun was a billion times the band Placebo is) Kenickie Drugstore The La's Ride Veruca Salt Atari Teenage Riot Asian Dub Foundation Babybird Leftfield

I had an Elastica phase earlier in the year. Even though the Wire ripoffs are totally shameless I tend to enjoy them more than the actual Wire songs. Some really great 2 minute singles on that first record. I never tracked down the second album apart from hearing tracks on live boots or BBC sessions.
