A Letter to Elise is one of my favorite Cure songs and I can't let it die in the first round. It's just wonderful |

Wrong Number (single, 1997) - good much, but a bit screeching lyrics Speak My Language (Japanese Whispers, 1983) - throwaway song A Letter to Elise (Wish, 1992) - this is great, beautiful even A Night Like This (The Head on the Door, 1985) - a bit much in the end, good sound but the horn section... A Letter to Elise gets my vote. |

A Night Like This and Wrong Number are both good, but Elise is taking the win here. |

A Night Like This is just stellar. Love the lyrics. The sax solo. I always thought it should be the closer on "Head on the Door," like it was for the CD version of "Standing on the Beach." Speak My Language is the only song on JW I skip. Wrong Number is a rare Cure song that I genuinely dislike. I still have a love/hate relationship with "Wish." I did not like anything on the album but "Trust" and "To Wish Impossible Things" when it first came out and I'm slowly (15 years later) coming around to it. Being the follow-up to the best album ever recorded is tough. |

I voted for Letter to Elise but Wrong Number and Night Like This are great too. |
