I think my favorite so far this year is Eric Chenaux's Slowly Paradise. Just weirdly shaped enough to make people wonder what's going on, but the songs are still lovely and mellow. |

Kamasi does those really well, but also moves into other styles of jazz that I don’t enjoy as much. |

And since I am not up to running 2.5 hours continuously, I have not heard it all yet. About a half hour in. Will continue on my run tomorrow. |
