Normally, I'd be all about your argument here, Ruddo. But the Zep version sounds completely different. They didn't just make someone else's song their own, they almost made a new song that is their own. Complete reinvention. Factor that in with the way it was recorded and all of the interesting things they did to make it sound the way their version sounds and I think When the Levee Breaks is the exception that proves the rule.
I mean... sure? This one feels particularly so, though. The others all sound like Led Zeppelin versions of old blues songs. This one sounds like Page and Plant wrote it. I was surprised when I found out they didn't.

Relistening to Achilles this morning I was struck at how much it sounded like Rush could’ve done it. And at how similar to Plant Geddy’s voice really is.
