i can't opine on her songwriting. i don't know her catalog well enough to make a judgement. just heard some shitty "live" recordings on the youtube that made an impression

I think I discovered her around the time West came out and it's still the LW album I go back to the most often. I kind of lost interest after Down Where The Spirit Meets the Bone and haven't checked the albums that came after that - maybe I should though. Had tickets to her concert ~10 years ago, but got sick the same day and couldn't go.
