I think the nu-metal tournament has been fun because it's dominated by a lot of singles that many people had a general awareness of. The single artist tournaments require a knowledge of deep cuts, etc. that even with the included videos gets hard to keep up with. I'd enjoy some of the suggestions made so far but I think the Britpop or pop-punk tournaments might be more fun just for the sake of participation.

Yes. I’m genuinely looking forward to the pop punk/ska tournament if it happens. I’m not familiar with that stuff and it will be awful

Yeah, I'm on board with this. Genre/era tourneys would allow more people to partake. Could also do TV shows, movies, etc.

Maybe, but Brain Stew without Jaded is just wrong.

I just love how it's not the Godzilla remix, it's featuring Godzilla. Like there he is in studio, holding up the headphones to one ear, growling into the microphone while an engineer asks for a better take.

:haha: what a mental image. I actually laughed out loud and my son ran in and said, "What's so funny?"

Unless someone else has already reserved the spot I plan to run a Tom Waits tournament after nu-metal. If you are already familiar with him you know how great an idea this is, and if you aren't this is your chance!
