From what I recall, the "fan ballot" is essentially inconsequential. It's like one vote in a pool of 1000+.

Yeah.... https://futurerocklegends.com/News/inde ... _Vote.html

jesus

What’d He do this time?

He kept Soundgarden out again

Holy shit guys. Learned today that Audio Fidelity (RIP) did audiophile remasters of the first two albums back in 2016. Only CDs were pressed, in limited numbers. Audiophiles claiming it's the best these albums have ever sounded: Thicker, punchier bass; more of the room sound; much greater dynamics; more subtlety to Zack's vocals.

Took me a minute to find a torrent of Evil Empire but I finally found it, downloading now. Can't wait to crank it. Here's a YouTube rip to at least get a taste, but I wouldn't let this be the final say in the matter...

Yeah the bass slays on this thing. Snakecharmer is somehow nastier than before.

I skipped right to Vietnow. That bass does sound sweet.

Rage already had amazing production, I might have to check those out if I ever get a good sound system.

i could see the first album really needing this. some songs way too treble-y

evil empire was already close to perfect though

no shelter is a dope track

guerilla radio always kind of seems fucked up live, like morello can't control the effect on the intro riff

i've always hated the kazoo guitar solo

i got used to it over the years

but by album 3 he could have done better with the effect, and the melody of the solo ... just really boilerplate stuff

born of ghosts kinda popped into my head a little today.. cool intro riff... chorus kinda sucks though

It's crazy to think how quickly things accelerated for them. They went from the dorms to the charts in such a short time, and given the political nature of their band plus the regular major label stuff, it's no wonder they imploded so quickly.

Shouldn’t this thread go into the Side Tracked forum? Wilk and Ed were in a band together and he auditioned for PJ.

yeah sure, i always thought the main problem was Zach and Tom but it seems Timmy C and Wilk also had very strong opinions back then.
