First listen and it's lovely. It's a dawn album, a new day imminent, that fresh feeling after a shower.

man i love that album and i think the band has ignored every single song on all tours after the DLD tour cycle.

Lots of people rate it as their fave NC album.

It’s time we call upon the author to explain!

Go to one of his "Conversation" shows and you can ask him for all of us. We should all chuck in for a ticket for you.

Last week in Chicago, someone asked him about No More Shall We Part and Nick asked the question-asker to remind him what songs were on it.

Which did prompt him to play "The Sorrowful Wife," which was cool.

This album is beautiful. At times I wonder if we deserve such an album.

Not a lot of talk about this album. I’ve only heard it once around the time it came out and have yet to listen to it again. It sounded good but for some reason I can’t get myself to get back to it.

Yeah, I listened to it once and it's... not for me. Others seem to love it. So, I don't feel like I have much to add/contribute to the conversation.

I’ve listened to it 2-3 times. It’s beautiful yet not easily engaging. I’d love to have the time to sit with it as it deserves that time.

This is probably right. There will be a day when this is the kind of thing I'm wanting. And I will revisit. But that first listen was rough.

I’d love to have an empty house and time to maybe cook a meal with a glass of red while playing this. Or after dinner sitting in a comfy chair by the fire.

I feel like this album isn't gonna click for me unless I'm already down a full bottle of wine.

I've listened through this a whole bunch of times, but a lot of those listens have been during the office work day. Listened again today and have to say that for some reason the album doesn't feel anywhere near as... dark(?) to me anymore.

I like this album a lot, and I think it's a great album for listening to as a whole piece, but I'd still rate it as #3 of his last 3 albums. But I really love both Skeleton Tree and Push the Sky Away, so there's no shame in that ranking.
