yeah, Rage is a good pick. Seems they dont really have more left.
I think Faith No More and Soundgarden are great examples. My Bloody Valentine could be another. Slowdive too.
I’ll second Soundgarden. I’ll add:
Mission of Burma, On/Off/On The Breeders, All Nerve David Bowie, The Next Day D’Angelo, Black Messiah Portishead, Third
Bowie and Dangelo are solo artists not bands. The Breeders comeback album is not All Nerve they did a bunch of stuff before
Trag is not even trying
D’Angelo returned with the new billing of “D’Angelo and the Vanguard,” and the new backing back brought his sound into new organic territory. Denied!
Both Deal sisters had disappeared into separate addictions, and nobody seemed to have any hope for another album from them. All Nerve came out with no prior awareness they had gotten sober and were writing new material, so I’m calling it a comeback. Denied!
Ok yeah Bowie is generally a solo act, but The Next Day was completed in secret after a decade plus of silence. Denied!

I was gonna joke and say Backstreet Boys, but I looked up their wiki and realized they really never stopped releasing albums. Who knew.
I discovered this recently too. They tour and everything. It's wild how many bands that fade from the public eye keep going for a small, dedicated fan base.
