Every release of his has 3-4 tracks I really like but the rest seems to underwhelm. This has not changed. The below track however is really hitting a spot.

Greta Van Fleet - Black Smoke Rising EP - just heard of these guys last week... 1. Never would guess a young kid could be a dead-ringer for Robert Plant. Do high schoolers even know about Zeppelin? (That's like 90s bands listening to music from the '40s) 2. A sweet roll-your-windows-down-and-rock set of 4 songs. 3. If they carve out their own sound within this sound, and not be a mere derivative, I'll look forward to everything they release. (Heck, even if they sound like Zeppelin every single song I'll still listen to them)
Their single Highway Tunes sounds straight out of the 70s, but my favorite is Black Smoke Rising

That band fucking sucks, I liked them better when they were called Wolfmother, and they were pretty bad then too.
Brand New released their long awaited 5th album Science Fiction today, after 8 years since their last album Daisy. Daisy came out the week I went to college, took these guys long enough to release something new.
