I'm looking forward to this. Lonesome St is cool too. Next trip to Melbourne will hopefully be for a sideshow around Splendour in the Grass.

The Melbourne Blur gig was one of the best I've ever seen. 3 of the Magic Whip tunes would have been nice instead of 6 filling up the set list but gosh they were 'on'.

Didn't realize there was a thread for this, or that other people on RM even liked Blur. I love Blur (mostly everything from ST onward; the earlier brit pop stuff is fun, but I like their more experimental side).
I always felt like 13 didn't get the credit it deserved, considering OK Computer come out around the same time and was a critical darling.
Think Tank is a fun record.
And yes, Magic Whip is still great. Felt sort of like a step back to a strictly song-focused record, without any of the little oddities that made their later albums so much fun. But these songs are awesome. Not a bad one in the bunch.

This is an outstanding album, but I'm going to have a hard time giving it the nod over 13. I'll keep listening in the coming weeks before telling Spenno his opinions are bad and that he should feel bad.
