that’s a rough road, Harmy. how’s your management of it going?
K, so, my official diagnoses are EUPD (BPD on your side of the pond) and comorbid Major Depression; strongly suspected cPTSD but it's a bitch to get a formal diagnosis at this stage, I don't even know if it's in the DSM yet; in any case, BPD and cPTSD are virtually the same thing
so my mental health life is fast-cycling, intense moods of all kinds (not all of them bad, but the extremeness of them makes them a potential problem as they can cause impulsive self-sabotage)
I've had a really tough, turbulent week, but it's ending well; it's my birthday on Saturday and my partner Julian is staying over

how are you doing?
I hope you can attain an adequate regimen of medicine and therapy to keep it under control. that’s the magical combo, i think.
I’m doing okay—I deal with it by posting a lot.

I didn't mention that: since about 2019, my meds have been a combo of Venlafaxine (ordinary anti-depression / anxiety med), and Quetiapine, also called Seroquel (a mood stabiliser and anti-psychotic), the latter of which was the miracle drug, I don't know what I ever did without it, frankly

I don't have longterm therapy but as part of my prize when I was diagnosed I did get a course of child trauma therapy, which has helped; my therapist recommended more but Covid has halted progress on that

the right drug combo can work wonders! I’m glad you found a combo that works.
