The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I'm so old I can't remember the difference between RM1 and RM2, or when that all was. I was originally on Master & Slave, then when Riot Act came out and that guy went all anti-PJ we mostly migrated over here.
Who's considered the RM historian these days anyway? Gotta be Peeps, he's like 97.
I came over from M/S as well. Prior to that I was posting on a board with a lot of women where they were obsessed with Eddie's white pants. I can't remember the name of it.

I started posting on RM in 2007. I was 20. It's been a WHILE.
There's no way you came after me, is there? I want to say I started posting in 2004. Maybe 2005.

I need to go re-evaluate my life and my choices.

So do you guys though. I joined after the Riot Act tour, what the hell were you thinking?

Okay, maybe Peeps can enlighten me here, but as far as I understand it:
Current board - 2012-2022 Previous board (Archived) - 2004-2012 The Real Old Board (Lost to the sands of time) - ???? - 2004 ????? The Master/Slave board - Around at least in 2001, maybe earlier.
So some folks might have joined RM (or what became the RM community) post Binaural, but most were post Riot Act or post Avocado. I don't think we added a lot of new members with anything else.

A number of folks also posted on the Five Horizons board before RM.

This feels mostly accurate. I came on around Riot Act as well. 2003 I think. This current iteration is 2013 though, not 2012. Please don't make 2022 a ten year anniversary if you don't really have to.

Sort the member list by joined dates and you will see that the mods were having a private party in 2012 building all sorts of nefarious glitches and bugs into this place. The grand opening to the general public was Jan 1st, 2013 when RM3 as we all know it started rolling. simple torture especially couldn't wait.

Yes, for the corrupt mods.

Digging deeper into the memberlist, it's interesting to see where we all were as RMicans with our first posts on this current board. Of course this is now a little skewed due to the deletion of GD, but it's still a fun exercise to see everyone's first posts on this iteration.
What's really interesting is seeing the arrival of new RM users who are now regulars. Trag, for instance, joined in late 2013, presumably a new member at the time. He came here to peddle a tour poster.
