Since eating better all week, the last 3 nights have been the best sleep I’ve had in months.
Good to hear! What’d you cut out?
All fast food. (I wasn’t doing much, but certainly more than I needed to.) All junk food. No cookies, chips, pretzels, popcorn, etc. What little snacking I did do was mixed nuts and absolutely nothing after supper. No dairy. Which is very tough for me since I love milk and cheese. Except for one tea beverage per day, only water to drink and a lot of it. And I’ve tried very hard not to drink any after supper to see if I can cut out the overnight trips to pee. The jury is still out on that one.
Also cutting out a lot of starchy stuff since my triglycerides were high.

After a full weekend I actually dozed off in the lounger last night around 10:30. Figuring that was a cue to go to bed. However I woke up every couple hours before drifting off asleep again. Normally I’ve been sleeping a solid seven hours or so straight recently.
basically its a ball cut in half. each half has a magnet on it. you place one half on the inside of your shirt and the other half on the outside of your shirt so the ball is reformed on each side of your shirt.
it trains you not to sleep on your back

Best night of sleep in ages. Kid was up at 6 something as usual, but when I went into her room, she was still horizontal, so I laid down on the futon in there and we both slept in til 9:45.

Thunderstorm woke me up about 1:30. I wouldn’t fall back asleep for at least two hours. Then the garbage truck woke me up an hour before the alarm went off and I never went back to sleep. Feels like I only got about half a night’s sleep.

I dozed off after work yesterday; the kind of sleep that you didn’t realize you were asleep, more like a feeling of missing time. I went to bed at the usual time but woke up around 5am and never went back to sleep. It was still tough getting out of bed and though when it was time to get up.

There is no dreams thread anymore so I guess I'll post my RM-related dream here.
Last night I dreamt that I was visiting Chud in Massachussetts when he suddenly started displaying symptoms of a heart attack. I frantically called 911, but because of misunderstandings over the phone with the dispatcher I couldn't get the EMS crew out in time. It was like her short and to-the-point New England approach was too fast for my easy-going, meandering Texas way of describing something, so she just hung up on me before I could get to the important details. That's all I remember from the dream. I woke up before it could end but I hope it turned out okay for Chud.

I’ve had a cold so I’ve been sleeping in the basement (doubles as our guest room) on our ikea sectional pullout thing. It’s comfortable enough (I don’t wake up with a sore back or anything), but regardless, I wake up several times a night for no reason. Annoying!

hopefully, you never wake up several times a night to pee.
it's the worst.

That comes and goes for me. Happened recently for a night or two, because I’ve been crushing liquids while under the weather.
