for sure. would have to plant some grass. maybe add some bushes. a stone walkway. flower bed. who knows. i think its all wishful thinking on my part as of right now

that is what it looks like (it is someone flipping the house)

i am probably going to do a drive by of it tonight and take a look. judging by the pics its a very solid house with the upgrades. my friend flips houses and that was his assessment

One thing this 2 month trip away has made me realise is how much shit we have and how little we really need.

the rental agent agent called today..he started showing our California place yesterday and the 1st person wants it and will pay full price and write us a check for the entire year up front starting April 1...woot

The entire year!? Do they have horrendous credit? They should just use that cash as a down payment for their own house and sell that in a year if they need to

yes they should definitely take on a 6.8% mortgage rate, closing fees, and the hassle of a purchase contract, plus roughly seven figures in debt, all to meet their goal of living in a new place for a single year.
