that 34 hour train ride on Amtrak from LA to Seattle ended today....after numerous delays, some weather issues and mandatory crew changes we sat on that that train for just under 45 hours...nightmare..we had a tiny sleeper cabin so scant fathom how those people just in regular seats made it..first and last time we try that adventure

we tried for an an upgrade but it was full plane thru Oakland so we just stuck with small one..would have been fine honestly but the 10 hour delay ruined it

the thing I hated..you'd think they would stock fruit on a 35 hour train ride..nope, crappy food for the most part but I somewhat expected that
