The kid was whining for a snack before takeoff, but the attendant told me we’d have to wait as it was all packed away.
A few minutes later, they came to thank my wife for being the airline’s highest club tier and asked if she needed anything. A bag of chips and cookie were rushed out for the kid.

Booked flights to Venice and first 3 nights of accommodation last week. Just now booked car hire for our drive through the Dolomites.
Paid more for a non-electric automatic as these idiots in Italy drive on the wrong side of the bloody road too. Trying to keep it as simple as possible.
My wife had to fly to Houston for a one day internal meeting. Her flight last night was delayed leaving for weather, then they shut O'Hare down for weather on the other end, so they had to temp land in Madison, WI and refuel. She walked in the door around 2am.
If only we had the technology to somehow do such meetings remotely.
Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

My wife had to travel to middle of nowhere, Texas a couple of weeks ago. It was 2 hours outside Austin, While driving from Austin in the rental car, traffic stopped due to a crazy hailstorm and tornados. She called me crying because she couldn't get anywhere safe. She made it safely, and the next day, the course she was teaching was attended primarily by Zoom participants. :/

What is this Zoom you speak of? I’d like to pass along any info to my wife’s employer.

Nice to be back in Seattle. The homeless smack addict situation is out of control tho. My oldest son pondered aloud, “Why are they all so flexible?” Great observation. Half of them are standing with their head between their knees.
