McP all your criticisms are fair, and you're right that any production-oriented economic development plan will face similar pitfalls, and the requisite digging into the details vis-a-vis environmental impacts, stakeholder equity, downstream costs, etc.

But this is a Q&A with a politician done by the Washington Post. At this particular juncture of the political-media industrial complex, I think his trying to introduce the very notion of progressive capitalism to a party that is preoccupied with democratic socialism, via a major news outlet, is a fairly bold step.

It was the New York Times! I don't subscribe to the goddamn Washington Post! Don't you dare slander me like that

i am starting to get annoying w/ NYT tbh ... i subscribe to paper edition even

if I didn't have wsj, bloomberg, and the guardian idk what i would do

almost feels like an obligation to read the times at this point

WaPo jumped the shark long ago but is def an outperformer during election season

Doesn't WaPo still employ Taylor Lorenz? Disqualifying as anything else.

Allegedly the Hunter Biden appearance that triggered Rep. Mace was a stunt for his Netflix documentary.

"The dark side" of social media products "is too great": Social media companies have created products that have an upside, but they also have a dark side that is “too great to live with,” Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday while grilling chief executives of four such companies. Until social media companies are sued for the damage they are doing, Graham warned that there will be no change.

- wonder how he feels about guns being used to kill people
