So it sounds like the lesson here is that you can revenge porn a sitting member of Congress into resigning. That's a really, really bad lesson, especially when combined with the typical double standards applied to women and non-traditional sexuality.
Having sex with people who report to her should be something she resigns over. Due to the power imbalance, her partners could not give informed consent. The revenge porn aspect of the story is separate, despicable and should be addressed via legal means.

Unethical, sure, no disagreement there. But I'm leery of imposing a strict norm of resignation over this for elected office, considering that voters have the opportunity to have their say in both primary and general elections, and where there may counter-aggravating factors at play.

The other problem is that some of Trump’s policies that might actually be good for the country never gets fair shake. I admit they’re few and far between, but they do exist.

Before anyone asks: trade wars. The idea of renegotiating trade deals that in some cases go back to WW2 to gain broader access to foreign markets makes good sense. Unfortunately he’s taking a sledge hammer to the problem rather than a scalpel, and he has no fucking clue how to sell it to people.
The idea that someone can simultaneously be victim and offender is gonna be difficult for progressives to grasp here.
