I mean, the ballots here in WA are like that. The difference being that they are all mail ballots and I have about a month to figure out who I'm going to vote for and don't have to cross anything out.

Also: You have a 50% chance of voting for the person you want, how do you screw that up? Get a brain, morans.

My thought was if the person counting them didn’t like who you voted for, they could cross it out and color in the circle for the other candidate. Just like in the pic. Too big a chance of chicanery with that type ballot.

I'm pretty sure they're machine-counted first, and when there's a recount they have a group of people examine each individual ballot so there's none of that foolishness. Do other people not feed your own ballot into the machine?

That's a vote for Rick Scott. They're trying to cross out their vote for Bill Nelson.

And NC uses this kind of ballot. I never imagined people would have such trouble.

We don’t use paper ballots. We press buttons for whichever candidate we want to vote for.

Because that's so much more secure.

it's refreshing that there are republicans who are actually still offended by this

take that white nationalist news buzz stereotypes

Quote:
Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith stumbled recently when, in praise of a supporter, she spoke of her willingness to sit in the front row of a public hanging if he invited her — words that, in the South, evoked images of lynchings. She has struggled to grapple with the fallout, baffling members of her party and causing even faithful Republicans to consider voting for her opponent, former congressman Mike Espy.
