Yes, conspiring to make spicy memes in chatrooms and convincing people they can vote by text message. If you're dumb enough to fall for a Facebook or Twitter post that you can vote by text message your voting rights were tenuous to begin with.

Seems likely that it will get thrown out eventually. The idea that he deprived anyone of a vote is comical.

As evidenced by the election of Donald Trump, American voters are indeed amongst the stupidest people in the world. However, that doesn’t mean it’s ok to lie to them about how they can vote. They still have that right.

Actually it is legally ok to lie to them about how they can vote, and it should be.

I'm sure the fact pattern would add up to something actionable if they bothered to do something other than poasting. Perhaps fraudulent mail purporting to come from the registrar of voters or something of that nature.

A new standard of you can joke or lie about anything on the internet except for elections seems untenable.

The process is the punishment and it's not like any payment processors are going to allow a defense fund to be created.

I've gone down the rabbit hole this weekend and wound up at a recent interview with Richard Spencer where he claims he's pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-Biden
