How exactly does one find oneself reading TV Guide's 12 Days of Chris-Mas, a festive celebration of famous dudes named Chris?

When you gotta look for your outrage because no one's pissed you off in the last 15 minutes.

Apple News headlines posts Fox News headline, but won’t read the story there, so went to the source and it was just as pathetic as one would imagine. A whiny entitled white person complaining about how awful it is to be forced to live in world where Chris Pratt is allowed to speak an opinion they don’t agree with.

Taking issue with some of Pratt's real-life remarks doesn't mean that you can't still find him funny as Andy Dwyer or Star-Lord. Those two things can absolutely exist in the same space. It's actually one of the fundamental rules of understanding celebrity. And once you know that, you're not only wiser, but you simply continue to apply that knowledge moving forward.

:haha: You're projecting a LOT onto that article, champ

will SJW-ing ever become passé?

will 'progressives' look back at the term SJW in 20 years somehow with regret / remorse? (e.g. like when people watch Friends now it makes them all look racist)

maybe because when the ice caps have melted we will have realized we should have spent our time on that issue instead of whining about which bathroom we can use?

This:

Academic Kristian Niemietz told Quilette. com that as cultural attitudes towards race, gender and sexuality become, in a sense, “normalised”, the economics of political correctness dictate there is less status return for simply being “progressive”

California organizers cancel Women's March due to 'overwhelmingly white' participants

Seems weird, they can find plenty of pro BDS folks in Berkeley, they may just need to bus them North.

I don't get the sense that there are many Fruit of Islam/ NOI folks out here. I think the most active ones got rolled up in the murder case of a local journalist.

Where do you even put a thread like this.

Also this is the epitome of White People:

All that and just a warning.

I’m torn between wanting Loomer to be shot and wanting Pelosi to be scared/annoyed...hmm

It’s California. Not activating is what gets you arrested.

Maybe she could have broken in, killed Pelosi, then be shot by the police. Win/win.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from that story is how easy it is to get onto the property of a prominent US politician. Cool cool. Definitely don’t hope other people follow her lead with different intentions. Definitely not.
