On board the 1500 train.

Although, as I think of it, 1600 would be more appropriate.

I guess when English for you is a made up language the literacy of someone with English as a second language is a better bet.

Blame them for what? Donald and Melania are not sick.

:shake:

You think they should wear masks when they've already had covid?

Isn't the White House currently the most infected place in all of the USA?

That's what I was thinking. Who in the hell would send their kids there?

supreme court elect apparently

Yes, I think the President, all Cabinet Members, all Senators, all Representatives, and all Supreme Court Justices should wear a mask whenever they are in public regardless of their COVID status and regardless of distance from others for two reasons. One, we don't REALLY know when a person starts or stops being infectious or how long they are immune after infection. Two, it's a message to all of the American public from their leaders that masks are normal and important.

The second part makes a fair point I guess.

Hey verb, my sister (third grade teacher) and an assistant teacher were around a kid who tested positive. Nevertheless, they both tested negative, probably because all parties were masked. Neat, huh?

I mean, do we know if verb has left his house since spring? Not sure he really gets what’s happening out there in reality.

To be fair to verb (since he conceded my point above), that COULD have happened even without masks. It's not the likely result, just possible.

Of course, but this kid tested positive on a Friday, and they interacted with him daily all week. Neat, huh?

to underscore my intolerance of any suggestion that simple mitigation measures aren’t worthwhile at this time.
