Hey verb, my sister (third grade teacher) and an assistant teacher were around a kid who tested positive. Nevertheless, they both tested negative, probably because all parties were masked. Neat, huh?
To be fair to verb (since he conceded my point above), that COULD have happened even without masks. It's not the likely result, just possible.
Of course, but this kid tested positive on a Friday, and they interacted with him daily all week. Neat, huh?
curious why you used "neat, huh?" for a second, consecutive time
to underscore my intolerance of any suggestion that simple mitigation measures aren’t worthwhile at this time.
I wear my mask bruh
Because JB says you have to. You don’t seem to believe in it.
Which matters more, what he believes or what his actions are?

Interesting. I actually thought the opposite yesterday, that because people can't see a smile anymore I have to go more out my way to achieve basic social interaction that could normally be covered by a small smile or facial expression.
I hate wearing a mask while I workout but it is nice that the ugly faces I make while lifting are covered up.

I had a minor mixup on a food order and went out of my way to be extra nice to the folks so they would know I wasn't put out, for this exact reason. The mask definitely makes you a little more inscrutable.

On the flip side, one thing I love about wearing a mask in the food and bev industry is that you can silently mouth all sorts of things to stupid fucking customers that you would usually get in trouble for muttering under your breath.

I usually wear homemade ones that wrap around your head with an elastic band. On the occasion that I forget them or they aren't washed, I have to wear the disposable ones that go over your ears. When I wear those, it makes so much more sense why people very intensely don't like wearing them.

I wore the disposables exclusively because my work provided them. As long as they weren’t too small/tight, they were fine.

Pro-tip, verb: when you're running you can wear a bandana around your head like this and just pull the triangle fold over your face when you pass the elderly ladies walking on the running path at 5:45 in the morning.

Again, I wear my mask. Everywhere.
Why, when you believe they do nothing?
I could be wrong. Why are you being such a dick about this if I'm not actually putting anyone at risk?
