it appears Mueller wrote an interesting letter to Barr..

Later, Barr and Mueller spoke by phone and while Mueller didn't think Barr's letter was inaccurate, the special counsel believed his report was more nuanced on the obstruction of justice issue, according to Justice Department officials.
Seems like a non-story

This makes Mueller's team look awfully naive. They'd just investigated Donald Trump and his campaign and administration for two years; they didn't consider the possibility that a member of his administration might mislead people about the report?

When conservative media describes current care pathways for infants born unable to survive, but represents those pathways as free-for-all post-birth abortion dead baby parties that liberals laugh about and doctors dream of, they are misrepresenting the context of the decision, the nature of the decision, and the substance of the moment. Just those three things.

Mueller says Barr has confused the public by misrepresenting what the report means. That seems important, how is it a non-story?

Seems like another way of saying the same thing.
It's implied intention that make's it different. I don't think Mueller states Barr did it intentionally, even if it's pretty obvious Barr chose language that shields Trump from shit he is clearly guilty of.

I don't get why you think Barr's intentions are the only story here? The fact Mueller felt the need to write the letter is a significant story regardless of what he thinks about Barr's intention.

do you think barr did it intentionally?
i think cherry picking parts of mueller's conclusions to eliminate context and to create the impression that mueller was unequivocally exculpating trump is pretty intentional, no?

I do think Barr did it intentionally (as I think think Trump committed obstruction) but I didnt read it as unequivocally exculpating, it was just vague enough to cause confusion. I just dont think that's what Mueller was stating in his letter, it's what we are projecting onto it.
