There was a guy who was so bananas in love with Kiera Knightly that he proposed marriage to her during a performance of a show she did at Studio 54 from the balcony! He also threw flowers to her. When security escorted him out, he threatened to kill everyone.

pretty sure Mattis would coup d'etat Trump in a heart beat rather than get the military to protect him

there is a container in which their current craziness is permitted to exist
it's mostly a lot of talk
the ruling class is OK with it, because they got their tax cut. they would be OK with more of it too, because there could be more tax cuts, or deregulation
but they would not be OK with an end to democracy, because global markets would tank, and so would their wealth
better to just revel in the massive wealth creation spurred by this tax cut and let the next dope democrat clean up the mess left behind

After hearing him sell the "training exercise" on the border this week I don't know about that.
i have faith that he's picking and choosing his battles
